Social Media Intern
ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
We are seeking a Social Media Intern to join the AKKI team for the upcoming semester. Based in our New York City studio, this role will support the development and execution of digital strategies that expand AKKI’s cultural and creative presence online. This internship offers a monthly stipend or college credit.
KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support ideation and execution of social media concepts, campaigns, and content strategies.
- Schedule, publish, and track weekly content across platforms.
- Actively engage with the AKKI community and maintain brand tone and consistency.
- Conduct research on social trends, performance insights, and cultural moments relevant to the brand.
- Collaborate with the creative team to ensure visual and editorial cohesion across platforms.
SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS
- Strong passion for fashion, culture, and social media storytelling.
- Proficiency in Instagram, TikTok, and emerging content platforms.
- Creative thinker with strong writing, organizational, and time management skills.
- Familiarity with Canva, Later, or similar scheduling tools is a plus.
- Currently enrolled in a college or university program in marketing, communications, or a related field.
Social Video Intern
ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
We are seeking a Social Video Intern to join the AKKI team for the upcoming semester. This role supports video content creation that communicates AKKI’s modern heritage aesthetic and luxury fashion storytelling. Based in New York City, this position offers a monthly stipend or college credit.
KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Edit cinematic short-form video content for social and editorial use.
- Lead post-production tasks including cutting, sequencing, color grading and visual refinement to maintain AKKI’s visual language.
- Collaborate with the team on narrative development and shot direction.
- Help organize and catalog media assets for upcoming campaigns.
SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS
- Experience with Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or Final Cut Pro.
- Keen visual eye and understanding of pacing, mood, and tone.
- Familiarity with current social video trends and platform-specific aesthetics.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced creative environment.
- Film, Media, Communications, or related field preferred.
Marketing / Special Projects Intern
ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
We are seeking a Marketing / Special Projects Intern to join the AKKI team for the upcoming semester. Based in our New York City studio, this position supports marketing initiatives, collaborations, and creative activations that bring the AKKI world to life. This internship offers a monthly stipend or college credit.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Research potential brand collaborations and cultural partnerships.
- Ideate and develop creative campaign concepts aligned with seasonal themes.
- Track emerging trends and moments within fashion, art, and lifestyle industries.
- Support execution of special projects and events from planning through launch.
- Contribute to presentations and mood boards to communicate campaign direction.
SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS
- Strong interest in luxury fashion, brand storytelling, and cultural innovation.
- Excellent research, concept development, and creative thinking skills.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Strong written, visual, and presentation abilities.
- Pursuing a degree in marketing, communications, fashion, or related field.
